Sightseeing in Valencia

TORRES DE SERRANOS
The Serranos Towers or Serranos Gate are one of the two fortified gateways in the medieval wall of Valencia that are still standing. You can climb the tower for some great views over the city center.

CCCC
If art is your thing, you won’t want to miss the Centre del Carme Cultural Centre. Changing exhibitions in an old monastery make it an interesting place to visit.

City of arts & sciences
The City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia, Spain, is a world-renowned, futuristic, and cultural complex designed by architects Calatrava and Candela.

Central market
A must-see in this city, a building of modernist architecture, containing all the fresh produce from the Valencian garden and all the flavors of the Mediterranean inside.

lonja de la seda
In the heart of Valencia stands the Silk Exchange (Lonja de la Seda), one of the finest examples of European civil Gothic architecture. In 1996 is was declared as UNESCO World Heritage site.

Turia park
One of Spain’s largest natural urban parks, a green walkable area stretching over 9 kilometers that crosses the city with recreational areas, sports zones, and romantic corners where you can lose yourself.

Fallas festival
The Fallas of Valencia, recognized as Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO, are a vibrant festival that takes place in March. The city is transformed with the more than 700 satirical monuments, daily fireworks displays, floral offerings, and the final final burning of the statues.

Albufera park
Home of the paella rice. Albufera National Park, just outside the city is worth a visit if you love nature and if you want to taste a real paella from the grounds.
